I’m sorry if I misled you into thinking that I’m about to present an unbiased analysis. This post describes my subjective and very personal feelings and emotions about the future of Java, which I’ve been happily using for 15+ years. It was not supposed to be about Scala at all. I just needed an example of JVM language I had personal experience with and dismissed in the past.
